On the event of Science day, Year 2's little explorers delve into various habitats, dressing up as animal characters. Parental engagement during the event was phenomenal. Students along with their parents explored activities planned in different zones. They take a hands-on and creative approach in the construction zone, using Legos and recycled materials to build different animals and minibeasts sharing their adaptations.
The young learners of Year 2 celebrated International Literacy day with 100 % participation and total enthusiasm. They have not only articulated their comprehension skills but also brought story characters to life. Despite knowing the fictitious and non-fictitious nature of the story, they could derive the good and bad lessons from a range of stories that facilitated them to perceive the significance of literacy and to be literate. In addition, during their presentation and healthy debate discussion, they have shown a high level of critical and collaboration skills. Overall, the event went well, and the objective was achieved.
