Year 2 students took part in activities, which encouraged students to share their thoughts on saving planet Earth in their native language or any of the official UN languages such as French, Chinese, Arabic, Spanish or Russian. They have prepared with a poster which they translated and explain their thoughts to their peers in English.

All the students joining the huge Winchester family in year 2, were welcomed wholeheartedly, with immense joy and affection. They were acquainted with the learning environment, through numerous interactive and fun-filled activities.
Students of Year 2 visited Roxy Cinema. They experienced Roxy Cinema’s EXTREME auditorium with the largest cinema screen in the GCC region. They had an enthralling experience watching the very first show of the Disney movie "Elementals" whilst making curricular links with their learning in English-Story Writing (Fiction with a message).
They also had the opportunity to watch an educational movie, “THE POPPIN' PROGRAM”, which helped them learn about how popcorn pop, introducing them to the science behind the magical kernel and its health benefits. The feedback by students was reflective of their memorable experience with a lot to cherish. The session went extremely well. Students were able to understand the aim of the session. They perceived the concept of child labor and comprehended why it is significant to eliminate this practice from society. Also, they could compare their life with those who suffer and manifest gratitude towards it. Finally, they created some posters and other drawings to protest child labour.
Students of Year 1 and 2 commenced the World Environment Day with an informative presentation on the importance of World Environment Day. They were enriched with the importance of taking care of the environment. They further expressed their views on how they can help to keep the environment clean, healthy and sustainable. On the occasion of World Environment Day, They demonstrated their understanding by creating posters, sharing ideas on how to protect the nature around us. Students were challenged to research and create questions based on the topic and test their peers.
The students of Year 2 learnt about the importance of proper food handling, storage, and preparation to prevent any foodborne illness. As an activity, students drew and wrote about different strategies on how to keep food safe and clean to promote and improve food safety practices, and to protect health.

Year 2 had an exciting day as they celebrated International Day of forest- recognizing that healthy forests will bring healthy people. Children were explained unbelievable benefits of forests, why forests are the lungs of the Earth. They discussed the pros and cons of deforestation and further gave valuable suggestions on how they can curtail it. Children made jingles/slogans on how to save forests and shared it with their friends.
An amalgamation of enriching activities showcasing students' interest in learning about history through activities like fiery art, public speaking as a witness of the Great Fire of London and developing their knowledge on the geography by creating compass rose, maps and alternative emblems for the countries of UK. The event ended on a positive note with excellent parental feedback. Year 2 celebrated the Mathomagic Day having a variety of Mathematical activities based on topics taught in the class. The students were enthusiastic and assisted their peers to carry out these amazing activities. They demonstrated their thorough comprehension of the various mathematical concepts, through fun games like Spin the Wheel, Roll to Goal, Pin the Tail, Toss the rings etc. this. It was an excellent platform for reinforcing their learning in a most engaging way and presenting their entrepreneur skills. Maths Day was a day of fun and interactive learning aimed to develop and challenge the children’s skills in using and applying Maths in day to day life. The feedback received from the students was extremely overwhelming and appreciable.
