At The Winchester we celebrated the Road safety week to build in students, the importance of staying safe on the road. Students were taken to the school buses. Bus drivers and the conductors discussed the rules of riding safely in the bus by following the safety rules. Students thoroughly enjoyed the session.
In the PSHCEE lesson students discussed and shared their views on how to be safe on road. They also listed the road safety rules.
Moreover in the ICT lesson, children had fun making road safety posters using MS Word.
As a culmination to this week long campaign, students participated in the MUFTI DAY on Thursday, 22nd October by wearing non-uniform clothes and donating AED 10 towards ‘’Dubai Cares”. The “Dress code” for the day was colours of the Traffic light.
